Face Painting Practice!!
This year in Wyoming, mom and I will get to do face painting with the kids a couple days of the week! I am so excited about this! We are practicing different pictures using the colors of Salvation. It has been a challenge, but I know the kids will love it......
Yellow: reminds us of the streets of gold in Heaven! Heaven is where God lives and He wants us to live with Him when we die. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." ~John 3:16
Black: represents our sins that seperate us from being with God. He is perfect and righteous, so we can not be with Him because of our sins. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." ~Romans 3:23
Red: stands for the blood that Jesus shed on the cross for us to take away all our sins! Though He lived a perfect life, He took our punishment for sin and died on the cross to save us!! "For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures." ~1 Corinthians 15:3-4
White: He didn't just die, three days later He rose from the grave and lives today! If we accept Him as our Savior and Lord then He will cleanse us from our sins and make us white as snow!! "Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." ~John 1:12
Green: When we accept Jesus into our hearts, the next step is to grow. We are to go to church and grow deeper in Him, we are to pray, and we are to tell other people the Good News of Jesus Christ!! That is our Mission!!! "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." ~2 Peter 3:18
