"All our work is beautiful (and sacred!) when done joyfully unto Him. Just because something sounds 'big', does not mean it is big to God ~ this is a trap our pride sets for us, when in fact, the opposite may be true. What may seem important to us, may be very unimportant to God. He may not always call us to 'big' things.
He may lead us to spend time ministering to one individual when it might be our inital tendency to think our time would be better spent ministering to a greater number of people. But that may not be so. It is far more important that we are faithful in the task He has given, rather than doing something we see as great...
As we follow God's call, our serivce is beautiful in His eyes. Remember what Jesus said? 'Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.' (Matthew 25:40) Don't look at positions or opportunities from your own eyes, ask God to let you see them through His."
