Wyoming... Day 7

Today was another Parade Day!! The guys left camp earlier than us to load water into the truck and then deliver it to downtown. Here are some pictures of them working hard!!

Something else that is going on this year, is they have a station set up with computers where people can get a certificate with their name and the Biblical meaning of it. This gives more chances to share the gospel with the people. Today was a slow Parade day... we didn't get to give out as many water bottles, but that allowed more opportunities to talk with the locals.

Mom and I were stationed at a corner with Cathy Foshea and Justin Smith. Luckily we had shade today, which made it nice!! One great thing we had was a little "pre-parade show" at our corner... these students set up their equipment and began to play their music! It was really great!

After the Parade we went to lunch at Sunnyside! Which was so yummy!! Then after lunch... Me, Mom, Justin Smith, Bill and Cathy Foshea, and Lauren Andersen went to a Russian Coffee shop there in Cheyenne called "Dazbog Coffee"!! It was said to be better than Starbucks so we had to try it. I prefer Starbucks, but it was pretty good coffee. Fun experience, and nice break after being up outside all morning.

Mom and I actually decided not to go do the Children's Event this afternoon. We didn't want to wear ourselves out... so after coffee we came back to the camp to rest! Waking up early, being outside in the heat all morning, plus the high altitude really drains everyone. Prayer Requests: Please keep the group working with the Children in your prayers, give them stamina and energy... The biggest prayer I have right now is for good health for the group; Almost everyone has been effected by altitude sickness this year. So please pray that everyone will start feeling better and stay healthy for the rest of the week. Thanks! Have a blessed day!!
